Dopo aver ridotto notevolmente il campo di studio dei tratti di personalit\u00e0 e averli categorizzati in 5 tratti principali, il concetto di questo test \u00e8 stato introdotto da Lewis Golberg nel 1981, dando il nome di \"Big Five\" ai cinque tratti principali della personalit\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Il concetto \u00e8 stato ulteriormente sviluppato da Costa e McCrae tra il 1987 e il 1992.<\/p>\n
